SAP Business One Partner

Ken and Missy Richardson started We Sell Mats in 2006 inside a two-car garage after taking a break from corporate jobs to raise two kids. They needed safe, quality flooring at a reasonable price but couldn’t find satisfactory options in retail stores. They purchased a high volume of quality foam tiles at a low price and sold what was left at a discount.

Today, We Sell Mats operates out of a 140,000-square-foot warehouse and sells mats in multiple colors, sizes, and thicknesses via eCommerce to customers nationwide.

The Challenge

We Sell Mats uses ShipStation to streamline order fulfillment across marketplaces like Amazon, Etsy, Wayfair, eBay, and Zulily. When they were ready for an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, they implemented SAP Business One to better manage orders, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. But the integration between the two systems wasn’t bidirectional—it only fed information from SAP Business One to ShipStation.

We Sell Mats adopted an interconnection software solution to rectify the issue, but it led to a bigger problem: a background workflow that caused failed transactions and jeopardized the company’s reputation.

The Solution

The company’s operations manager searched for an expert SAP Business One partner to integrate the company’s systems correctly. Vision33, the largest SAP Business One partner, had the perfect solution for We Sell Mats.

Vision33’s The Saltbox Platform is a cloud-native integration platform as a service (iPaaS) solution for enterprise integration, workflow, and collaboration between business applications. Saltbox automates bidirectional information-sharing and workflows between SAP Business One and ShipStation, and its integration and workflow construction allow for intelligent human intervention in input, approvals, and exception handling.

The Result

We Sell Mats and Vision33 collaborated to integrate SAP Business One with two instances of ShipStation—one to serve the Amazon direct fulfillment program and the other to fulfill wholesale orders from eBay, Etsy, Wayfair, Zulily, and other marketplaces. These seamless connections were accomplished with only four Saltbox workflows, and there are zero failed transactions across all marketplaces.

Because Saltbox can connect virtually any business application, We Sell Mats plans to use the integration platform to revamp its entire technology stack with custom connections.
