SAP Business One has lots of real-time reports and analytical tools that allows sales teams to deliver orders as promised, correctly invoice customers and accurately forecast their revenue. All of which can help you lead a sales team to greater success and ultimately, enable you to better service and provide greater value to your customers.
One of the reports that we're going to cover in this article is the Sales Analysis report in SAP Business One. The Sales Analysis report enables sales users or managers to identify market trends with sales figures, future demands and much more.
Real-time Sales Dashboard in SAP Business One
From within SAP Business One, Sales Managers can configure a dashboard where sales managers can add routine functions for easy access. Once configured, sales managers can make a single click to run a Sales Analysis Report and select different options to choose such as date range. Double-clicking on a particular line will then expand into a more detailed analysis of all the invoices for that customer over the selected range.
Sales transaction report in SAP Business One
If you want to take a deeper dive on sales data, the Sales Analysis Report can be carried out at the item level to see all of the transactions relating an item. When the line of detail is expanded, sales users can get access to all the documents relating to the item in question.
Inventory Reports in SAP Business One
Sales users can also track inventory levels of a product in SAP Business One. There are a few different reports that users can choose from depending on the information they're after. Available reports include, but not limited to, inventory status, available to promise, and the inventory posting list, among others.
SAP Business One Reports for Sales Managers
In SAP Business One sales, managers have the ability to use company data and take it a step further to gain more insights into their sales performance.
One nifty feature in SAP Business One for sales is the Budget vs. Actual report. The report enables sales managers to create a forecast for a specific customer, specific items and the quantity you believe they will purchase by day, week, or month. From here, you can create a trend-based report to analyze customer orders or purchases by date. This allows sales managers to not only get a deeper analysis of their customer performance, sales managers can use the report to anticipate future demands and sales orders.
Another useful sales function in SAP Business One is “Blanket Agreement”. This feature allows Sales Managers to set up an agreed price with the customer if they purchase a certain amount over a period by specifying the date range and the budget allocated for the purchase. In addition, the “Blanket Agreement” brings together any documents in the system that is created relative to the product agreement.
