Emrah is the proud co-founder and CEO of the visual AI service, Chooch. As a serial entrepreneur, Emrah has started seven companies throughout his twenty-year career and built a wealth of expertise in the areas of start-ups and business. Before launching Chooch, Emrah was CEO of Terra Invest where he was responsible for creating and developing a platform where commercial and social endeavors could deliver value to investors and stakeholders alike.
The reason we’re all familiar with the terms ‘AI’ and ‘machine learning’ is because conceptually, they’ve been around for over forty years now, Emrah explains. But finding ways to adapt the theories and apply them to how we do things – that has been the hold-up. Take the self-driving car for example. We’ve all seen the videos, but we’re a far way from filling our streets with them.
There are practical ways that AI and machine learning are helping businesses today though. Emrah has helped his clients save millions by showing them practical ways to apply AI and machine learning. But just like ERP, clients are reluctant to change the process that they’ve built their business on. That’s where having a partner that works to understand your business and your goals makes a difference. Emrah describes his clients as people who are looking for that competitive edge, often with the mindset of ‘if I don’t do this, my competitors will’.
