SAP Business One

VSUGlogoOur VSUG LIVE event held recently in Los Angeles had a great turnout and we want to thank everybody for attending! The biggest highlights of the event were the sessions developed by our experienced and highly regarded speakers, who made this day valuable to everyone involved.

Vision33 asked Richard Duffy, renowned expert and “SAP Business One Evangelist” from Australia, to be a guest speaker for the event. Richard’s focus was to show some of the new features in the SAP Business One 8.81 and 8.82 versions.  As one of the main attractions, 30 users from as far as Utah joined us in the SAP Los Angeles office and another 13 joined via GoToMeeting. Some of the best feedback received from Richard’s session was his hands-on demonstration of B1 On-Demand, a web-based report and dashboard delivery mechanism. Richard showed participants how easy it was to sign up for a free account, post Business One data to the site, create visualizations, and share them with others.  A number of those who attended have already begun using BI On-Demand to publish dashboards!

Another invaluable session was led by Vision33 Total CARE Manager, Carl Lewis. During his session, Carl demonstrated how to connect to SAP Business One through a variety of mobile devices.  Users were able to pass around and test the usability of Apple iTouch and iPad, a Blackberry Playbook, a Nook, and a new Windows 7 Pad called am (ExoPC). By featuring products like zed QueryPortal, zed Customer Portal, Opportunity Manager as well as CoreSuite Mobile, attendees were able to see how various software has the capability to connect remotely with a LIVE SAP Business One system.

Special congratulations to our VSUG Live Winner of a brand new BlackBerry PlayBook:
